There was no surprise in Busan where 7th rankedAnyang (4-6) was defeated by fourth ranked Sonicboom (6-4) 69-58 on Monday. Suwon KT outrebounded Anyang 42-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. Suwon KT looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international guard Hoon Heo (181-1995) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 assists for the winners and Junyoung Park chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-1992, college: UMass) with 13 points and 6 rebounds and American Michael Young (206-1994, college: Pittsburgh) scored 16 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Suwon KT maintains fourth place with 6-4 record. Loser Anyang keeps the seventh position with six games lost. Suwon KT will meet LG Sakers (#8) in the next round. Anyang will have a break next round.
